Paulette and Charlotte became firm friends when their sons met at school at the age of 7, over 13 years ago.
They both have a strong moral compass and a keen interest in children's mental health.
Walter has been around for well over twenty years, when Paulette used him to help her nephew deal with some difficult issues at school. Once he felt strong enough, he stood up to the problem and was able to move forward. Happily, he has since grown into an emotionally literate and resilient young adult.
This has taught her that self-belief and a strong mind can help every child or adult to approach any issue differently. It is also really important to understand the value in talking to someone you can trust.
As your child develops their own set of resilience skills, we aim to help them learn to slow their worries down, approach issues with measured thinking, and not let it all get on top of them.
Walter was born to help young people get to this stage. Let him be part of your child’s present and future so they can ask themselves, regardless of the situation: What would Walter do?
